This Weekend...

Made for Erika

Wow, you're producing loads of these embroidery things! I love the camera one especially!

I'm in London until Saturday, so I will have dinner and drinks with friends tonight, then probably going to a posh food market on Saturday. On Sunday I imagine I'll mainly bew sewing or knitting and catching up on my sitting-on-the-sofa-with-Dave time.

Adorable embroidery! Sorry about the arthritis pains though :-S

This weekend I will...
work on new photographs / collages
meet a former co-worker who also quit her job as a teacher
eat chocolate
try to get rid of my stupid cold.

YUM! That looks amazing. I'll be heading out to the Edwardian Ball this weekend. There's going to be fun live music and an Edward Gorey book acted out! I can't wait!

Congrats on being featured on feeling stitchy!

Ok, the camera embroidery is about the cutest thing! You don't sound 78, btw ;-) It's good that you can take comfort in these things.

Hi dear! Thank you for your comment. It's the nicest comment we've ever gotten on our blog, I think! And I'm excited by your slow book club. I'm tentatively considering joining it, especially since Jeanette Walls has been on my to read list forever and ever.

love, Jenny

Your embroidery is so cute, Diana. Mm, that cake looks incredible. Lemon is such a fresh and delicious flavor. I have lemon cupcakes every year for my birthday :)

My weekend will consist of working, relaxing, reading, and maybe movie watching. Enjoy your cake and tea!

Thanks so much for the well-wishes on my last post! I can't believe our city lights ever visited my little journal.. It means a lot. Thank you, again! <3

hi there,
thanks so much for the compliment!
My images are not actually digital collages but double exposures. Some people tend to think all my collages are digital but they are either made very traditionally by photography or on paper and then scanned - which I suppose means they're digital. Um. :D

That recipe sounds delicious! I'll be packaging Etsy orders this weekend, which I hate and I can't believe you love! If you lived closer to me, I'd just pay you to do it for me! Hope you have a good weekend!
