Making History
Imagine, being in your twenties, in your prime of adulthood, living in the best city to be young, and hanging out with a group of artists building a movement that will change the reputation of American literature.
The idea of hanging out with Jack Kerouac and the Beat Generation crew (Bukowski, Ginsberg, Burroughs, even Mr. Laurent was one himself) is elating. This book may be as close as I’ll get.
My favorite city, hanging out with one of my favorite authors, in my favorite era. I’m so excited!
